The end of the Skywalker saga sure went out with a bang. With the release of The Rise of Skywalker the Skywalker saga was finally complete, but is it worth watching?

Although Rotten Tomatoes gave this movie a 54%; the audience score was 86%, I would give the Rise of Skywalker a 7 out of 10 rating. I liked this movie; “liked”. This movie felt to me before it came out that it had a lot of expectations and a huge burden of ending the whole saga. Did it give us what we wanted? To me it was good, but not great. This movie right from the start was really intense with a lot of things not really making sense due to where we left off from The Last Jedi.

This movie tried to fit a lot of content to fit into two hours and twenty-two minutes which was its downfall. A huge thing they introduced into the movie was the ability for Force users to Force- heal living things, this to me just came out of the blue and made no sense because in all of the other movies no Jedi could Force-heal, but they just now introduce it into the last movie to complete some daring stunts. For example, at the beginning of the movie Rey, our main character and some friends are in a cave. They come along a centipede type creature, and she sees that it is hurt so she uses the force to heal the creature. Overall though the movie was good and tied a lot of loose ends, like who is Rey, Poe’s backstory, and how Palpatine came back. This movie also did the best job of ending the Skywalker saga in my opinion.
