Five RBI Day for Nolan Hawk Secures Victory for Deforest Over Mount Horeb: Norskies Win Road Game Against Mount Horeb

Senior Center fielder Nolan Hawk was clutch at the plate with runners on base friday night. Hawk drove in 5 runs on 3 hits to lead Deforests offense. Hawk drove in runs on a single in the second, a single in the third, and a single in the sixth 

Deforest jumped out to an early lead in the first inning when senior catcher Kase Reirson doubled on a 1-0 count to score Senior Second Baseman Ryan Buschmann. 

Deforest put up three runs in the sixth inning senior third baseman Gabe Kennedy and Hawk each had RBI in the inning. 

Senior Utililty man Josh Jansen earned the win on the mound for Deforest. Jansen lasted three and a third innings allowings two hits, and two runs while striking out 5. Junior pitcher Parker Holmes and Senior pitcher Kellen Grall enterned the game out of the bullpen 

Deforest tallied 13 hits. Hawk, Reierson, Buschmann each collected Multiple hits. Reierson and Hawk each had 3 a piece to lead Deforest. Deforest Tore up the basepaths as two players stole at least two bases. Senior Shortstop Logan Engeseth led the way with two. 

Norskie’s Offense Explodes for 14 Runs Against Fort Atkinson: Norskies collect 15 hits for 14 runs 

Deforest defeated Fort Atkinson 14-0 on tuesday as two Norksies pitcher combined for a shutout. Sophmore pitcher Gabe Reyes got the start on the mound  for the norskies.  The right hander allowed two hits and no runs over 4 innings. Freshman  outfielder  and pitcher Cullen Kirchberg threw two innings out of the bullpen. 

Deforest fired up the offense in the first inning. Senior Utility Josh Jansen singled  on the first pitch of the at bat to score  senior second baseman Ryan Buschmann. 

Deforest then later followed up their productive start with 6 runs in the sixth inning. Senior Nolan Hawk, Freshman Kyle Ugalde, Junior Parker Holmes, and Jansen all contributed to the innings with big RBIs

Deforest launched one home run on the day. Junior NJ Delmore had a long ball in the third run scoring one. 

Deforest tallied 15 hits, Hawk, Jansen, Senior Kase Reierson, Buschmann and junior Brogan Hicks all collected multiple hits for Deforest. Jansen and Hawk led the way with 3 each for the Norksies. Reierson and Jansen each had 3 RBIs each to boost the norski offense. 

Deforest Come Back Falls Short as They Take Loss to Milton: Norskies fight 6 run defictie to make a run late in the game 

Despite a 6-run deficit in the second inning. Deforest Varsity almost came all the way back, eventually falling 6-4 to Milton on Thursday. Deforest put up four runs in the failed comeback. Kirchberg, Jansen, and Hawk picked up RBIs to lead the late rally. 

Deforest couldnt keep up with Milton early in the game. Milton scored on an error, a walk Put Seniro second baseman Jack Campion on and he later scored on a single by Senior Third baseman Jett Bundy. 

Norksi errors were the story of the second inning that led to Milton scoring 6 unearned runs which ultimately halted the Norskies chances. 

Jansen started on the mound for Deforest. The lefty lasted two innings allowing four hits and six runs while striking out 3. Holmes threw 5 innings in relief out of the bullpen. 

Kase Reierson went 2-3 at the plate to lead Deforest in hits. 

Bundy led the way offensively for Milton with 3 hits.
